Preparing the Engine
First we picked up the raw assembled engine and stored it on a suitable support. Stable braces fixed it in a position allowing us to get to all the necessary screws and and bolts in order to mount the peripherals.

The tractor served as the delivery vehicle for getting the engine from the engine builder.

Besides mounting the intake and exhaust manifolds, we screwed on the engine mounts and replaced the fuel injectors as well as mounted and centered a new clutch.

Naturally we also replaced the clutch bearing on the gearbox.

Lastly we cleaned, removed rust from and painted the valve cover and the timing belt cover.

For the valve cover we used a high heat resistant paint so the operating temperature of the engine doesn't make it peel off.

Now the "wedding" of engine and car was finally prepared.
